Drawing from Experience

For the past ten years MEDCON has been providing educational support to the Vascular Biology Working Group (VBWG) and to the Coalition for the Advancement of Cardiovascular Health (COACH), two global initiatives that focus on cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and risk management. Through these partnerships we have worked with the most prestigious and renowned thought leaders in cardiology, endocrinology, and internal medicine, and have engaged interdisciplinary audiences of nearly 300,000 clinicians in multiple learning opportunities under the guidance of the program chairs and the respective CME providers.

We take great pride in knowing that VBWG and COACH members are loyal participants, obtaining their ongoing education from these initiatives as evidenced by repeat attendance at live events, continuous utilization of enduring and web-based material, and learning assessments that consistently assign the highest ratings to program content.

It is because of our experience with these two initiatives that MEDCON has become known for building long-term partnerships based on trust, loyalty, and consistency in education standards. Whether we are engaging one-on-one with a faculty member, program participant, or content expert, or working hand-in-hand with a steering committee or medical association, we place equal value on all relationships. We recognize that these relationships are our most significant resource for assessing educational needs and validating content.
